When you begin shopping for your tent, keep in mind that you get what you pay for, and this is especially true when it comes to tents. The manufacturers of cheap tents should be required to include on the label, "Tent is guaranteed to leak in the event of rain." If you've never experienced this, allow me to explain.

The light rainshower begins as a small drizzle and builds quickly with giant puffs of wind that may be mixed with hail. As the rain builds, the water gushes downward, into your campsite, quickly spilling into your cheap 'waterproof' tent. The time of the event usually occurs around two in the morning.
