GYPSY TALES BY A FULL MOON The Silver Dollar Gypsy - Act I Syeira was a beautiful gypsy who loved nothing more than belly dancing the night away. She was an excellent dancer with a Coke-bottle figure that jiggled in all the right places - a favorite among visitors to the camp and when she danced. By the end of the evening's performance, it was not unusual for Syeira to receive a bag full of silver dollars. Needless to say, all
the other gypsy dancers were jealous of Syeira. She was not
only a fantastic dancer, she was beautiful to behold, her
wealth being two-fold. But Syeira didn't give a care about her
beauty or about the
silver; she simply loved dancing. By and by, she obtained so much silver that she had to purchase a private gypsy wagon just to hold her loot. Although she was generous with all the other gypsies, they were big spenders. Her best friend Helene loved purchasing sparkly outfits. Helene was a gypsy who valued her privacy and had little to do with the other gypsies. Syeira often wondered why Helene lived the life of a gypsy when she seemed more suited to the stage. Out of all the other gypsies, Helene had bonded with only Syeira herself. Syeira's other friend, the gypsy Paul, consumed far too much whiskey and Syeira often wondered if giving him silver was such a good idea for she felt she had a hand in his slow demise. But at the moment, Helene and Paul were the least of Syeira's concerns for she had overheard a plot by the rest of the gypsy clan to do away with her. To these gypsies, money meant more than life. However, Syeira had a plan of her own.... Navigate by Act Act 1 | Act II | Act III | Act IV | Act V
